Halloween 2012

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!  This year was pretty boring... ha ha... Lonnie had to be in Seattle for drill for a week.  So, I didnt buy any candy and turned off the lights and No One Came Over.. :) It was nice.   Hope everyone had a great and safe night.

Spooner Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch !! I have been wanting to for since Oct. 1st..ha ha.. but we just now got there.. We went to a new one this year.. Last year we went to the one in Lacey.. this time it was near our house in Puyallup. Kayleigh and Alex came to the house and we went together.  It was fun.. I was a little bummed that they didn't have hot cider.. I love that at a pumpkin farm.. and I didn't see a hayride either.. we did do the corn maze.. that was fun, until it started raining. Thinking about going to another one next weekend, but we will see.

Happy Birthday Hubby !!!

Happy Birthday to my husband Lonnie !!! I hope you have a wonderful day !!   Today he had to go to work :( But I do have some plans for later tonight :) Kayleigh and Alex (and friend Nathan) are coming into town and we are going to dinner.. We are going to The Lobster Shop in Tacoma.  I have never been there, but Nicole has gone a few times and loves it.  I'm going to go and get balloons and make, yes I said MAKE a cake..

Happy 44th Birthday !! I love you so much.. and you get to be the same age as me for a few weeks .. ha ha..

Lobster "Shack" Shop

44 Balloons for 44 years

Last night was Lonnie's birthday dinner at The Lobster Shop.. or what I like to call "The Lobster Shack" ha ha..  Kayleigh, Alex and Nathan joined us and we had a great time. If you are in Tacoma Wa.. I would say you need to try this place.. a little pricey.. but I think so worth it. Its right on the water and the view was great also. Yesterday I also got Lonnie 44 balloons for the house, when he walked in it was great to see the look on his face.   Here are some pics of his special day !!  Happy Birthday to the love of my life !!

Madonna

On Oct 2nd Kayleigh and I went to Key Arena to see Madonna in concert.. I could not wait.. I had got the tickets way back in April and was so excited.. I had been waiting since 1986 to see her in concert... and was glad that I could bring my daughter to see with me.  We got to the concert at around 730pm.. the concert was to start at 8pm.. we had great seats by the way !! I had heard that her concerts were not on time.. and we made friends with the people around us while we were waiting.  At 1043pm the concert finally started.. I was so tired by this time.. but was so happy that it was going that it was ok I felt like going to bed..haha.. The concert got over at 1am !!!  I could not believe it !! I felt so bad for Lonnie because he was waiting for me at Kayleigh's house. I was happy to hear that he took a little nap while waiting for us.. We drove home and got back to our house at 2am and in bed at 230am.. Lonnie then had to get up and go to work.. All of this so I could go to the Madonna concert.. Thank you Lonnie and Kayleigh for a great night !!

One Year Ago...

A year ago today Kayleigh, Nick, Alex, Lonnie and I were getting on a jet plane to come back to the USA.  Time sure has flown in a year. Here are some of the things that have happened:

* Lonnie got a job at Iron Bow Tech.
* Family Reunion
* Bought a house
* Nick left to join the U.S. Army
* Went to many concerts
* Kayleigh turned 21 years old
* We got another dog ~ Molly

I am sure there is many things I am forgetting.. but these are the "big" things I can remember.. Its good to be home!
