Spring Fair :)

Lonnie and I went to the Puyallup Spring Fair today.. it was a perfect day to go.. sun was out and it was so hot that Lonnie got a sun burn. We had a lot of fun, it had been about 8 years since we went to a "real" fair... I think it was 2004 when we last went. We rode on three rides, played some game and won toys for the dogs and ate some really good fair food. I cant wait until Sept when the fair comes again !!

A few weeks ago Lonnie got us  tickets to the Mariners game.. it was military appreciation day. We took the kids and Alex to the game.. it was Alex's first major baseball game and he had a good time. We had great seats in the "Club Section" and in the shade.. No Rain woohooo :)  The White Sox won and the pitched a perfect game.. so I guess that was good..haha.. So glad we went and cant wait to go again !!!

This Sat. we met my sister and her family in Seattle for her birthday dinner that I promised her if she came to Seattle to see me :) And she did !! I love seeing her and husband and her kids.. and the one she is about to have in May !!  S and L are great kids although L take forever to warm up to his Auntie.. haha.. I love them both so much... Happy Birthday Kimberlee..Love you !!!

Ocean Shores

This Easter Lonnie and I took the dogs and we went to the Ocean.. it was a nice 2 hour drive to get there and the weather was wonderful.. 70s all day !!  When we got there.. we took the dogs on the beach for a walk.. they had a blast ! Mia was so funny !!  Lonnie helped a lady get unstuck in the sand.. *DO NOT DRIVE IN SOFT SAND...  YOU WILL GET STUCK !!!  We took the dogs back to the car, gave them some water and treats and headed to the horses.. that's right.. we went on a hour horse ride on the beach. It was alot of fun although my horse did not listen at all.. and really liked to gallop.. I will be sore for a few days for sure !!!  When we came back, we let the dogs play with the other dogs that were on the beach and then headed home... It was a great day and cant wait to do it again !! Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone !!! I hope today is a wonderful day for you and your family. This year Lonnie and I are spending Easter by ourselves, the first time in 22years. Nick is in Alaska seeing friends and wont be home until next week, and Kayleigh and Alex are at home in Seattle. I saw K and A yesterday and gave them their baskets. (Nick yours is in your room) Gave Lonnie his this morning also :)  This is the last Easter baskets for Kayleigh and Alex.. guess you have to stop sometime and 21 seems to be the time for us.  Today is just beautiful outside, so we are planning on going to breakfast, and then coming back to get the dogs and go for a ride. Night Out With The Hubby

So .... With the kids out of the house, we have alot more time to just be with each other.. A few weeks ago, Lonnie got us a room in Seattle at the Edgewater Hotel .. but then changed it on me and got us a room at Hotel 1000... What a nice hotel.. its on the corner of 1st and Madison in Seattle. Amazing room, great bar.. and near the Market.

We got into Seattle around 130pm and checked in and then hit the market.. while walking we stopped in a Antique Store ... I ended up buying at green leather chair ..lol.. (have to go back next weekend to pick it up.. we were in my car, not the Escape) We walked around the Market and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner... Lonnie had made us reservations at The Met. I had heard wonderful things about The Met from my BF Nicole Brugler. I had a nice steak and baked potato.. but Lonnie had this....

It was fun going out to a nice dinner.. we dressed up :) 

On Sunday Kayleigh and Alex came and we went back to the Market.. I got some of these...

It was a GREAT weekend... Love you babe !!!
