Lonnie sent me a picture of him and some of the people that he works with... here it is..

Bull Fight....

On Sunday Sept 27th we went to one of the Okinawa Bull Fight's. Really all it was, were two bulls pushing eachother around. NO BULLS WERE HURT !! I went with Christine Kelly and Eric and Laura Flattem. It was a ITT tour. I guess you can say that I can check this off my list of things to do in Okinawa.

Movie...

Last year Nick was a extra in a movie out in Okinawa. He was hired as an extra through COL (Casting Office Lona) the place that he is a model. Christine and I went and saw it last Sat. night. It cost us $16.00 to get in and was all in Japanese. Oh, and we were the only American people there. We saw him a few times. I guess he was in more then we saw him.. but he was in the "back ground". Anyway, here is the poster of the movie...

This past weekend I went to the 35th Eisa and Orion Beer Festival with Christine. We got there early and waited around for it to start. Once it got started we paid 500 yen ($5.00) to sit up the the seats. It was so hot out that we went to the Orion beer part of the festival and did a little people watching. There were a lot of interesting people there... ha ha... Next year Lonnie will be home and we will be going again...

First Day Of School 8.31.09

Well, we have started back to school. I started back on Aug 26Th and Nick started back on Aug. 31st. Kayleigh started college on Aug.24Th. I have to say it has been a very interesting start to the year. My principle is on sick leave which means we have a sub principle.. we were told that we (the para's)had to come up with the lunchroom rules and need to have them ready to go by the time the kids got there. Oh, and we only have three pars's. One of the girls is now doing PSCD which I am sad about because now I don't see her anymore. So that leaves three.. yep, three of us and at some point during the day we have up to 7 classes outside.. ITS CRAZY!!! And its only the third day of school...

Kayleigh has started college. She is going to the U of Maryland here in Okinawa on Camp Foster. She has two classes Mon and Wed. Right now she is also looking for a job..

Nick is a Jr. in High School at Kadena High School here on Kadena AFB. He is in JRROTC and in cross country again.

Yes, I still take 1st day of school pictures.. just of Nick now...
