Takayo came to visit for Christmas

This year Takayo, Alex's mom came to the US from Okinawa Japan to spend Christmas with us. It was so nice to see her... I think it was almost 3 years since she was here. She came with two of her friends from Mainland Japan. Their daughter Misaki  who lives in Seattle. They came and spent Christmas night and dinner with us and we went to a big dinner on the 27th. 

Nick is home!!

I was so excited to go to the airport to pick up Nickolas !! He flew home for about three weeks for Christmas and over his birthday !! (Dec 31st) It is so nice to have all my kids home and under one roof. It has been a year since we have seen Nick and I have missed him so much ! He is still in the Army in Kansas but, he will be getting out in 2015 and will start college at KU.   Its not a very good picture of myself.. but oh well..

Army ~ Navy Game, Ft. Lewis Washington

This is the first year we have gone to the Army Navy game since we came back to the states. It ended up being a nice day and didn't rain while we were there.  It was so cold though that we ended up leaving after half time. It was nice going and we will doing again next year. 

The Nutcracker in Seattle at The Pacific Northwest Ballet

I was so excited !! Lonnie got me tickets to the Nutcracker Ballet for my birthday !!! I have been wanting to go to this for years !!! I had gone years ago in Spokane with my dad. He had taken us when the kids were very little, so it had been about 20 years since I had been, We got to the theater and went and had a bite to eat before the ballet. We got to our seats and they were very good.. we were on the 5th floor in row H. We could see everything. I hope to go again next year and maybe take the kids and Takayo to see it in Dec. .. Thank you so much for my bday gift !! I loved it !!! 

Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!!!  This year we had Thanksgiving again at the house again. Lonnie did the turkey like always and it turned out I think the best it has ever been !! It was so good ! And this year we didn't try to burn the house down.  We had all the regular fixings and at around 3ish.

Liz's Birthday

Happy Birthday to me !! I turn 47 this year !! We went to dinner the weekend before my actual birthday.. we didn't want to eat a big birthday meal and then Thanksgiving dinner the next day. We went to one of my favorite places.. Stanley and Seafort's in Tacoma. Kayleigh and Alex went with us :)

Mustache Dache in Seattle

I was in the mood to run another 5k, so I talked Lonnie into doing the Mustache Dache in Seattle with me. It was a lot of fun and a pretty route to run. Not to mention my best time so far !!!  AND, I got my first medal !!!
