Family

Tonight we went to my Aunt Suzie's house in Lynnwood. We left the house early and picked up the kids and took them shopping for food.. they were running low.. then we headed out. We got to the house and were met by my Uncle and Mom, sister Kimberlee, Colin and the rest of the family. This was the first time that Lonnie had met my Aunt and Uncle and their kids. Crazy thing was... this was the first time that I had met Chris and Kelcie (my cousins) and the second time to meet Katie. And the kids had never met any of them. Alex came with us and it was the first time for hm to meet my mom and sister. I hope that we can meet again soon and can't wait for this summer when Erik and the boys (and Sarah and Jacey) can be there !!!

Happy Veteran's Day!

Happy Veteran's Day to my amazing husband !! Thank you for everything you do and have done !! You have gone above and beyond what you have been asked of and I love that after everything.. so still am proud to serve.  Also, thank you to my brother in law Kristian Williams who serves in the U.S. Navy and my brother Erik Hydorn who serves in the U.S. Army. I love you all !!

Happy Birthday Dad !

Today is my Dad's birthday.. it is 79 years old today.. maybe I should say "years young". He is always on the go.. taking his dog for two walks a day about a mile each time.. rain, shine or snow.. he is out there. I love my dad!! I think that he is an amazing man!! He has done so much for me over my life and I hope that I have made him proud.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch ! We took Kayleigh and Alex with us because they came and spent the weekend with us .. Nick stayed at home in Seattle :( This was the first time that Alex had ever been to a pumpkin patch. Growing up in Okinawa, they really don't have them ;) It was the perfect day.. sunny with a crispness in the air !! We went through the hay maze, went and say the baby animals, jumped into the hay pit, had corn on the cob, went on the tractor ride, had hot apple cider -yummm !!, went through the corn maze and picked out our pumpkins !!! Because Nick was not there, we got one for him and Kayleigh and Alex will carve it when they get home. We got one this year too, but it was a little one just big enough for us :)

My New Car !!

Well, today my Amazing, Wonderful, Thoughtful, Loving husband bought me a car !! I LOVE IT !!! It is a 2007 Acura TL !! Leather heated seats, sunroof, color -everything I wanted !!! Being cold here in Washington, I really REALLY wanted leather heated seats !! I was looking at Honda Accords, Nissan Altima, and Toyota Camry's.. and by luck, just walked over to see the Acura and it was perfect !!

We Have A Home

Today is our first day in our apartment.. Lonnie and I are in our home by ourselves for the first time since we were first married.. just us and the dogs. We got our first shipment of our things last night and will be going through the boxes in the AM. Its a little strange not having the kids here.. but I know they are loving their place in Seattle. Kayleigh got a job and so did Alex. Nick is still looking but I'm sure he will get one soon.

We are in BACK !!

We made it home !! We are back in Seattle~Washington State !!We got into Seattle about 930am Oct. 1st and Marty Brugler came and picked us up with his big truck.. (we had a lot of suit cases) Its so nice to be home.. even though I do miss the heat in Okinawa, it is nice to have that chill in the air of Fall. We drove by a pumpkin patch and the leaves are starting to change. Right now we are staying at Nicole and Marty Bruglers house, but we move into our Apt on Thurs. We drove by it today, it is in a gated area and we will be on the second floor (not thrilled about that) but we only plan to stay there about a year and then we hope to buy a home :)
