Lancers Reunion at LTG Browns

Lonnie had a Lancer reunion this year.. this was the unit that he was with in Iraq in 2004 when he got injured.  The first night of the reunion we met at LTG Browns house.. ( I have always wanted to go in that house.. its house #1 on JBLM and I was so excited to be in it) we had a bbq, beer, music and laughs.  The second day was the memorial of those we lost. I was really glad I talked Lonnie into going !! Then that night, we had the "ball" in Tacoma.. it was really nice and it was fun to go to and not have to have a gown on.. it was "Hawaiian" night.  I can't wait meet up with them again at another reunion !! 

Olivia's Birthday At The Tacoma Rainiers Baseball Game

Tonight we went to see the Tacoma Rainiers Baseball game.. it was the first time that we had ever gone and we got to sit in box seats. Our friend got the tickets for her daughters birthday and invited us to go with them.. Great fun.. plan on going to more next season. 

Kite Festival 2013

We went down to Long Beach for the Kite Festival. We had not been in years and we took Alex who had never been. We stayed with Martha and had a really nice time. Kayleigh and Alex braved the water one day and went swimming !! I know that was cold water, but they did it !  We met up with Gary and Diane Wirkkala for dinner in Astoria Or.   Looking forward to going again next year.

Electric Run ~ Puyallup Wa

Lonnie and I did our first Electric Run this year.. and although I was hurt and could not Run it.. I did walk it with Lonnie and had a great time.. We dressed in up glow in the dark things and headed to the fair grounds where it was being held. Kayleigh and Alex came with us to cheer us on and said they want to do it next year with us. After the race there was a "rave" kind of party and of course the beer garden. Can't wait for next year !!!

Up up and away.....

Today Lonnie's friend Clay took us up in a 4 seat airplane.. It was a lot of fun and very last minute for me. Lonnie and Clay flew from Boeing Field and came and picked me up in Puyallup.  We flew through Tacoma, Vashon Island and through Seattle. It took about an hour for the whole trip. I can't wait to go up again !!!
