Olivia's Birthday At The Tacoma Rainiers Baseball Game

Tonight we went to see the Tacoma Rainiers Baseball game.. it was the first time that we had ever gone and we got to sit in box seats. Our friend got the tickets for her daughters birthday and invited us to go with them.. Great fun.. plan on going to more next season. 

Kite Festival 2013

We went down to Long Beach for the Kite Festival. We had not been in years and we took Alex who had never been. We stayed with Martha and had a really nice time. Kayleigh and Alex braved the water one day and went swimming !! I know that was cold water, but they did it !  We met up with Gary and Diane Wirkkala for dinner in Astoria Or.   Looking forward to going again next year.

Electric Run ~ Puyallup Wa

Lonnie and I did our first Electric Run this year.. and although I was hurt and could not Run it.. I did walk it with Lonnie and had a great time.. We dressed in up glow in the dark things and headed to the fair grounds where it was being held. Kayleigh and Alex came with us to cheer us on and said they want to do it next year with us. After the race there was a "rave" kind of party and of course the beer garden. Can't wait for next year !!!

Up up and away.....

Today Lonnie's friend Clay took us up in a 4 seat airplane.. It was a lot of fun and very last minute for me. Lonnie and Clay flew from Boeing Field and came and picked me up in Puyallup.  We flew through Tacoma, Vashon Island and through Seattle. It took about an hour for the whole trip. I can't wait to go up again !!!

Joe Came To Visit..

Lonnie's dad Joe came to visit this weekend.. its been about a year since we saw him last.. He came up to Washington because his cousin passed away, and he went to the memorial ..but also got to spend some time with us. Joe got in on Friday afternoon, after going to see Lonnie at work they drove home and we went to lunch. Sat. he went to the memorial and then Gary Wirkkala came over for dinner. Today, Sunday.. Joe, Lonnie, cousin Chris and cousin Brian all went golfing.. and later on Lonnie's foster sister Hali is coming over for a BBQ .. Kayleigh and Alex are coming over also. Should be a fun time .. hope the weather will get better :)  Its been a good visit and can't wait to see him again.

4th of July 2013

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July !!  This year we again went to our friends house (Gary Petersen) for the 4th. He has a wonderful home on Lake Tapps and every year for the past 18 years he has thrown a party and a big fireworks show. We had a great time.. Alex, Kayleigh and Cristina came with us this year. This year it was pretty cold.. so we (the kids) didn't get in the water ... but we had  wonderful food, great company and an amazing fireworks show !!!  Thanks Petersen's for a wonderful time and can't wait for next year !!! 

23 years....

Happy Anniversary

23 years ago today I married the love of my life, best friend and partner. I could not be more happy then I am today !! I love you so much and can't wait to spend 20+ more years with you !!!
